""Where Fearless Kids Shine God's Light!""
Vacation Bible School --
How It Works
Kids will keep an eye out for “God in action” in their everyday lives—they’ll even notice the daily demonstrations of his love that are often overlooked…
• Find four powerful things God made.
• Look for someone showing God’s love at a sporting event.
• Take a long drink of cold water—and thank God for providing the water you need to stay alive.
…and they’ll discover how they can be a God Sighting by showing Christ’s love.
• Place a fun treat or note on a family member’s pillow.
• Give a smile to someone who doesn’t have one.
• Share an extra-delicious chocolate chip cookie.... Read More

The Christian Church in Lindsay...
Posted by pastorpaul on: Friday 08 May @ 17:23:58 (Read: 116) |
The Christian Church in Lindsay roots are planted in the
Independent Christian Church Movement
Independent Christian churches go way back to 1901 when some 20,000 people walked, drove their wagons or rode horses to a camp meeting revival near Paris, Kentucky. It’s not hard to picture the crowds of early settles, horses and wagons in the fields surrounding a rustic church building.

Overcoming Depression
Posted by pastorpaul on: Friday 08 May @ 13:38:06 (Read: 1046) |
PastorPaul writes: "Depression is such a common experience in our time that it has been called the common cold of modern psychiatry. We should probably feel a sense of sympathy for the medical profession in its effort to do something for depression beyond prescribing a mood elevator. That's about as effective as treating the common cold with aspirin.
I am concerned about depression."

"It's not hard to honor the seniors among us
Posted by pastorpaul on: Monday 04 May @ 14:03:44 (Read: 147) |
Older adults are the backbone of the church. They are faithful and have served and sacrificed over a lifetime of support the church. Some of those same people now push walkers or rely on wheelchairs, face health challenges or have lost a spouse.
It's easy in the busyness of .every day life to pass by too fast to notice them. Make time to affirm their value and worth.
