How to find a local body of believers { a church } where you can experience encouragement, teaching, and love.
Read on......

[1] One aspect of a healthy church is no irrelevant teaching. Look at Acts 2:42: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching.”

[2] Another aspect of a healthy church is that no one stands alone. Notice verse 42 talks about fellowship, breaking bread together - that’s eating together and taking the Lord’s supper together - and prayer.

[3] Another rule is the church should be a place where mask aren’t worn. Notice the word sincere in Acts 2:46.
The early Christians were real.

[4] The fourth rule was no part - time worship.
Notice the words every day in Acts 2:46.

[5] The fifth rule is no perfect people allowed, only changed people. Notice the last line of Acts 2:47: “The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” It doesn’t say they were perfect but that they were being saved, being changed into what God really wanted. The church should be a place where people are growing and getting better.

Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Acts 2:43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.
Acts 2:44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.
Acts 2:45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
Acts 2:46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
Acts 2:47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
