My name is "I Am"
Posted by pastorpaul on: Tuesday 04 May @ 19:06:33 (Read: 389)
My Name is “I Am”
I was regretting the past and fearing the future. Suddenly my Lord was speaking: "My name is 'I AM.'" He paused. I waited. He continued, "When you live in the past with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not 'I WAS.' When you live in the future with its problems and fears, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not 'I WILL BE.' When you live in this moment, it is not hard; I am there! My name is 'I AM!'"

"It's not hard to honor the seniors among us
Posted by Anonymous on: Thursday 10 September @ 12:43:26 (Read: 493)
Older adults are the backbone of the church. They are faithful and have served and sacrificed over a lifetime of support the church. Some of those same people now push walkers or rely on wheelchairs, face health challenges or have lost a spouse.
It's easy in the busyness of .every day life to pass by too fast to notice them. Make time to affirm their value and worth.

Eagle Free

An eaglet in its downy nest surveyed the scene below
And asked with animated zest, "Oh Mother, I would know...
Will I someday begin to fly as high and far as you?"
The answer came,
"Of course you'll fly, for that's what eagles do."

WOW! What an exciting week at LCC! |
Posted by Anonymous on: Monday 17 July @ 16:19:26 (Read: 373)
As on: Friday 14 July @ 09:00:06

Hi. My name is Patti Opp. I and my helpers are painting faces and hands this week at Fiesta. We are in awe of the children attending this outreach. We have been blessed so much. God is opening doors and we are planting seeds.
We have close to 100 kids every night from pre-school to 6th grade. Many kids who are too old to attend have volunteered to be crew leaders and assistants to the adults. We have about 70 volunteers every night who have given their time and energy for God's work. Everyone is as excited as the kids! The evening passes so quickly and you look forward to the next with joyful expectation at what the Lord will do.

Already an international publishing sensation, The Da Vinci Code now is a feature film directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks.  Don't let your worries get the best of you; remember,
Moses started out as a basket case.

Some people are kind, polite, and sweet-spirited
until you try to sit in their pews.

Mother in law Jokes
Posted by Anonymous on: Tuesday 04 February @ 14:27:07 (Read: 526)
You know, Mother-in-laws have been the brunt of jokes since the beginning of time. Well, I guess that isn’t exactly accurate since Adam and Eve didn’t have a mother-in-law. But probably shortly after that, Mother-in-law jokes became popular.
Out of curiosity, I went to the internet this week and you wouldn’t believe how many web sights that there are that are dedicated to mother-in-law jokes.
27,000 websits dedicated to MIL Jokes
